does anyone else feel strange when they see that episode when they're together, considering Betty was Ken's sister on Mama's Family? Oh well, only in St. Olaf.

Yeah - I see your point.

I know what you mean, but I don't find it odd. I mean it's 2 different shows, with 2 different characters, so I don't have a problem with that.

I didn't know about their screen history but I understand why you think it is odd. Shannen Doherty did a TV movie a few years back where she was married to a man but he was played by the same actor she worked with on Charmed, and on that show they were pretty much enemies lol. Weird adjustment for me as a viewer.

No big deal... try watching "The Cosby Show" with Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad as Cliff and Claire Huxtable, and then "Cosby" with Bill and Phylicia as Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Banks. Same people, still married, different show!

lol, but being married on two shows is different than if she played his daughter in one show, and his wife in the next.... Oh wait, sounds like Woody Allen's life story

It doesn't even cross my mind as weird because I see 2 actors working together again, like Betty & Rue or Rue & Bea, so it's just cool. BUT, I'm not a Mama's Family fan; maybe that's the difference. If Betty & Rue were cast today as lesbian lovers, it would be like watching Rose & Blanche kiss, which would be weird.
I didn't know the Cosby Show changed titles and character names, interesting. Whatever business or financial decisions brought it about, at least they kept the show going, basically.
