I've visited that site before. It has a lot of great quotes for a lot of celebrities and I was using entries for the Golden Girls as my signature a few months back.

There was so much more we wanted to cover on the show, but since I couldn't get the network censors to budge, I decided to leave the show.

It doesn't say which show she is talking about. It's possible that she was speaking about Maude.

I agree, Rob. Bea has spoken on numerous occasions of how frustrating it was on Maude because every thrid day of rehearsal, they had to read the script for the network censors. Apparently a seventh season was planned to show Maude as a politician in Washington but they wouldn't be tackling hard hitting issues, so Bea opted not to continue.
