That first promo must have been shown the week that "Comedy of Errors" was shown during 1989. I don't know about anyone else, but I found that second promo really irritating. 2mins30secs for a promo is very long, especially when they repeat the same lyrics over and over!

Wow, great find, Franck! The second NBC did go on a bit (and that music - yikes!)...and way too much Bill Cosby in there for my liking but great to see the girls dancing and on motorbikes. Did anyone catch Bea? I didn't see her.
Thanks for sharing, Franck

WWOOWW!!! Loved this! Especially the second clip. I didn't catch Bea. Maybe she couldn't make it.

Didn't watch the second clip but it was so weird to see a promo for a "new episode". I never gave much thought as to NBC's promos but it's good to see that Saturday nights once had great programming. Now there seems to be a global problem of putting on good shows on a Saturday.
Thanks for providing them Franck.

They were good - thanks for posting. Man! 2:30 was long and no Bea...Hmmm. Imagine the promo for NBC Saturday nights now - "You already saw it once this week, but you're sitting at home alone on a Saturday night, so you can watch them again..."
Saturday night USED to be the night for some of the best TV on TV. Remember years back - Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Burnett shows?? TV sure is changing - I'm not sure I like it...
