I watch at least 4 tapes a day if I'm off college lol and I have over 9/10 tapes so far. And I always watch at least 5 eps while in bed aswell.

TGG is the best US comedy yet! It would be cool if they could do a reunion in a two-parter of TGG.

I think I'm bound to have recorded all of them! But the weird thing is there a lot of them I can't account for!

i think its really cool to see how only 3 years ago GG fans had to tape all of their episodes & where hoping for a reunion and now we have all 7 seasons on DVD (almost) and there has been a reuinion special..as well as books and other things....i cant imagine what we fans will have within the NEXT 3 years that seems like a meer fantasy right now

I never knew about this topic but I agree with you that is amazing that just 3 years ago, a DVD release for The Golden Girls seemed like a pipe dream. Now, 154 episodes are available on DVD as well as the reunion special and the Intimate Portraits of the actresses. What could we have in 3 years? Blu-Ray Golden Girls? A Disney Pixar version of the show?

I'm not sure how many I have on tape, but I know I don't have them all. Maybe somewhere around half. I didn't feel the need seeing as how Lifetime shows/showed them 6 times a day. Also, with the DVDs coming out. I'm so happy that the show's been released onto DVD.

I have seasons 1-5 (6/7 coming soon) on DVD, as well as the Intimate Portraits. I have the reunion special and Lifetime's run of "The Golden Palace" on tape. It wouldn't make sense for me to tape Lifetime's versions of "The Golden Girls" because: they are edited and they are shown in production order (our DVDs show them in the order in which they were originally aired). Although, seasons 1/2 are in stereo on TV.
